    Any lobang for Airbrush set?

Post by forgottenjack on Wed 25 Jan 2012, 11:59 am

Hi guys, I'm interested in getting an airbrush set.
Been trying hand brush but the result is less than satisfactory Evil or Very Mad
One shop i went to recommend that to a decent set (brush and compressor) would go for around 200SGD and from Airbrush.sg, that bout the right price as well. -.-

Where did you guys get your stuff and how much did it cost you?

I got my ab set from hag.. The brand is hobbymate.. Good performance.. But after around 1-2 years I bought a sparmax ab.. Then I bought an iwata.. Price range, 200 plus when I bought it back then was not enough. But flif you're intending to get from airbrush.sg then should be ok..

    Any suggestion?
I'm looking at Iwata stuff now and the technical jargon is killing me
I understand i don't need too much horsepower/psi in compressor to paint model kit and i don't think i'll use it for anything else (maybe my girlfriend might wanna try tattoo or nail paintting though) -.-
I'm definately getting a dual action gravity feed brush, but is removeable cup necessary? I was thinking of using different cup for diffrent type of paint (if i ever need to) or should i get a seperate brush altogether?

Btw, what would be a reasonable price for a decent set?
I'm not trying to be cheap but money is a big issue...
At the very least i need to know how much to save T-T

I am using Sparmax Airbrush and compressor TC-610H airtank.. Bought at $400 at a bundle price from hobbypoint.. A good setup for beginner I feel.. Airtank gives me prolong usage n stable airflow even when the compressor is hot..
Usually the compressor is $360 outside.. So the bundle price makes it quite attractive..

Changing of cup is unnecessary as u would need to clean the airbrush as well..
