Yup, all the SUPER SMALL figures had to be painted =x

They are originally in a skin color

    Hi Ayano,

wow, the ship looks really good... how long did u take to paint the crew members? I just bought this today... i'm not that good at painting and i'm not sure what kind of paint to use. the guy from the shop advised me to send in for painting, but it's rlly expensive.

is it easy to paint it?? - especially on the eyes area?

    thank you!

The crew came in a skin color originally, so the 'good' thing is that you just need to paint over it for the clothes and hair etc. And yeah, it's quite of taxing on the eyes because of the size of the figures. Suspect

You would also need a really fine brush and ALOT of patience, because you might screw up at some point and need to redo it. If you need reference, you can go to La Tendo at Funan. They have a very well-done model of the Thousand Sunny and crew. You can take pics for examples. I took mine from just the anime lol Wink

Thanks for ur reply! ^^ Ohh, so there's no need to paint over the crew with beige colour or something right? I can't imagine having to spend such a long time.. I heard, using airbrushes or acrylic paint is better? I'm not too sure where to start... haha, i bought mine from La Tendo! , the guy said he could send it for painting for me ...i'm still considering ><

What kind of paint did u use?

I hand-painted all the crew (lol) I don't think an airbrush can have such an accurate spraying radius because the crew is really small. You can take a look at the thousand sunny at LaTendo's display case too.

    I mainly use Mr.Hobby colors~
