    Wing zero honoo custom

Post by Hoshizora on Wed 27 May 2015, 10:35 pm

Hi i have an idea to paint the orange 'flame' parts on the wing zero honoo to blue but still would like to retain that transparent look.
Any idea how i should go about it?

Should i just use a clear blue on it then a plain clear topcoat?

Any advice is very much appreciated.

I don't think you will get blue if you spray clear blue on clear orange pieces. it likely will turn out like brownish. you may try to spray on the clear orange runners/tree 1st.

Hi!! it will be a challenge as it is a orange part. U will have to use multiple clear blue to paint over it. (lots of layers)

Blue and orange make a variation of the color brown when mixed together. Brown is a tertiary color, as it is made from combinations of primary and secondary colors

You may try on your runners to spray on it but i doubt it. 7 coats of clear blue will give u a dark brown...

actually its not related.. coz all he did was paint the orange parts a metallic blue & because his photo booth was black.. the metallic blue reflects off black, creating the illusion that it is transparent blue like the prasky wings parts from star booster.
