    mask for spraying

Post by sliver on Sun 09 Sep 2012, 7:31 am

For those modellers who decided to make modelling their lifetime hobbies and are very much into spraypainting their kits, i believe a mask is a must for protection against inhaling too much thinner and the likes.
As such, i have created this thread so that e bros and sis here can share w their 2cents on using a mask during their spraypainting. And for those who are wondering whether to get a decent mask, can drop their queries here for discussion.

    My suggestion for sharing:
    1) pic of mask used
    2) where they bought e mask (price range would b gd)
    3) some general specfs (e.g model no, does it come in sizes etc etc)
    4) pro and con of using the mask so far (comfort lvl of wearing, freq of changing e filter, effective in filtering particles?)
    5) anything to add on.

    Fire away guys!

I once used that kind of mask, but one way or another I could smell the thinner faintly, so I guess it's not that reliable.. but it might just because I got a faulty product or something like that.
