figured that since this kit is ondisplay at compass point, may as well post the pictures here.

    here goes, my project ZZ.

basically what i did was, i savaged the gaging buider's age-3 fortress cannons for this build. added some plaplates to try n break off the shape from the original fortress' cannons.

for the kit on an overall, it was my first time doing so much panel line scribing. some were quite crooked, but i would say that after awhile i got the hang of it, and it got easier at the end. challenging, trying to think of how to scribe the lines. also, added some plaplates, plastrips and koto parts for the kit. articulation was quite bad, so the simple pose.

as for color scheme, i custom mixed a light and dark gray for the 2 tone of the supposedly gundam white. the blue, yellow and red were custom mixed as well. Red was appled over a coat of yellow for some vibrance.

    some close up shots :

last but not least, the base.

was made from wave's h-hangar, and with the help of some evergreen plaplates and beams i tried to make it feel abit like a display hangar. pictures shall do the talking!

overall, a very fruitful but rushed build. was literally rushing the last few days before submission, until the extension was announced. :\

CnC warmly welcome! thanks for viewing!

I have a HG grade 1/144 Full Armor ZZ Gundam (no blue color) I prefer that theme. ZZ Gundam is one of the most awe inspiring model kits when painted and posed properly.
